We recently met with the Advisory Committee for our Chesapeake Heartland fellowship to review the designs for the student-created virtual tour, interactive museum panels and interactive exhibit labels which emerged from our Chesapeake Heartland fellowship & Stories of the Chesapeake grant.
After the former schoolhouse students who served on our Advisory Committee reviewed these new materials, we were able to begin having the physical materials produced. Below is a photo of former schoolhouse student Irene Moore viewing the interactive exhibit banners for the first time.
One set of the interactive banners above will eventually reside in the Worton Point Schoolhouse and a second set will become part of a traveling trunk for educators. Over the next several months both the digital and physical materials designed by students will take their final form. Stay tuned for more updates!
